Do I have to be a parent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ student?
No, however, parents and family members of current and former students, or children under school-age are given priority. Additional guardians and surrogate parents are welcome, along with school volunteers.
How do I register?
All registration is through The Parent Academy. Contact the office or complete the registration form under Registration and fax to the contact information.
Am I limited to how many classes I can take?
No, you can take as many classes as you want.
Are classes offered in multiple languages?
Yes, Spanish and Creole are available. They are noted by each class.
Is there a minimum age for attendance?
Not necessarily, however, most classes are geared for adult learning. There are joint classes for parents with their children.
